Course Description:
Join us for a dynamic 6-week Life Drawing class with experienced artist and tutor, Jordan Cook. Working directly from the model, each week we will explore various approaches to drawing the figure in the life room - ranging from short, expressive poses to longer, contemplative ones, including capturing the figure in motion. The life room will provide a quiet and focused atmosphere, perfect for refining your observational drawing skills.

All experience levels are welcome, including beginners!

Materials:
Easels, drawing boards and charcoal are provided in the studio for no extra fee. Please bring your own paper. I advise A2/A1 size paper; however, this is totally up to you. You are also welcome to bring your own materials to work with (no oil paints). I recommend experimenting with a wide range of drawing materials throughout the course, this could be compressed charcoal, ink, oil or soft pastels, coloured pencils, watercolours and graphite sticks.
