For many years Chris lived in Harlow and occupied a studio here at Parndon Mill. He now has a large studio in Hastings enabling him to produce on whatever scale he chooses and to work on more than one painting at once.

“Like most other artists I continually absorb what I see and experience with a view to creating foundations to build new work on.

My work is still essentially about the activity of animating and inhabiting a two dimensional space. About Painting as I understand it at the moment.

Since moving from East Anglia to the South Coast the stimulus has changed, the work has changed. So here is some new work.”
