Sarah will be running two programmes of classes at Parndon Mill.

Develop Camera Confidence 

This unique photography programme is ideal if…
• You have a big camera that you’ve never got to grips with off Auto or are frustrated with the results you get with it
• You would like to develop your creativity
• You would like some me time learning a new hobby

This 6 month programme is designed to get you off Auto, taking the photos that really capture your memories and creating images that you are really proud of. Packed full of technical and creative tips it includes:
• 6 x 1/2 day workshops (total of 18 hours tuition time)
• A private members group to help you to stay in touch between sessions
• Individual coaching and personal development plans
• A course folder with handouts
• Social photography outings
Bonus: a free photography book!

The programme takes a maximum of 6 students to enable individual attention.

4. Colour and Composition
5. Using Shutter Speed
6. Making the Most of Your Photos

Better Smartphone Photography 

If you’ve always wanted to take better photos with the camera you always have with you then this 1/2 day workshop is perfect for you! Designed for both iPhones and Android devices this interactive workshop will cover the following:


• Your smartphone camera’s capabilities
• How your camera ‘sees’ the scene
• The advanced controls for smartphone photography (this may, in the case of iPhones, require purchase of an additional app)
• Composition tips that will make your photos look better
• Editing your photos using Snapseed (free editing app) to enhance them including adding text
• Tips for using social media

This workshop is highly interactive and will involve taking photos throughout the workshop. This may drain the battery of your phone really rapidly. To ensure you get the full benefit of the workshop ensure your device is fully charged and bring a charger too.

Dates available are : Sat 29th September or Saturday 13th October.
Both classes run from 10am - 1pm
