Gordon first exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 1952 and has had paintings in this exhibition sixteen times since. He was artist of the month 2005 at Snape. Twice short listed for the Daily Mail Not the Turner Prize, and is also listed in Who's Who in Art. Gordon is drawn to a subject by atmosphere and design in landscapes and seascapes, hence the added fascination for skies. He paints in oils on site around his Sheering home and in Suffolk and France. The session was a great success and was attended by 30 arts enthusiasts. |
