About the artist:

Having attended Walthamstow Art School Neil Robbins studied painting at the Croydon College of Art from 1970 until 1973, receiving tuition from notable visiting artists such as David Hockney.

The fresh and colourful interpretations of Cornwall are distinctly his own, and are now being collected. His work graces the walls of many homes and offices in Britain and abroad.

Artist comment:

“Although Hertfordshire born, my work tries to capture the sensation and atmosphere of the Cornish coast. The appearance of the sea or landscape is to me, not important. I do not try to describe every detail, form is insubstantial. I work in acrylic paint, and put it on quickly. Painting to me is a subjective process it is a feeling for the landscape and sea”.
